Armed with a business degree from the University of Utah and a background in real estate, she entered the profession over 30 years ago and quickly rose in sales production. Over the years, Joanne went on to open, manage and own real estate companies. Along the way, she was appointed to serve on the Colorado Real Estate Commission’s Forms Advisory Committee, wrote and taught Advanced classes for the Colorado Association of Realtors, spoke Nationally to real estate groups, served as President of the Denver Board of Realtors and was chosen as Realtor of the Year by that organization.
A founding partner of Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty under its original Fuller Towne & Country Properties’ banner, she helped steward its rise to the number 1 company in the Denver Board in its first year of operation in terms of closed dollar volume and closed volume per agent. It has maintained and grown its market influence over 13 years
Today Joanne has come full circle to do what she likes and does best….help her clients buy and sell residential real estate using the highest level of technology in acquiring all the necessary data and applying her unequaled personal knowledge and expertise to make sure they meet their goals in the process. While much of her business is repeat and referrals from past clients, the Ernstsen Team, with their shared values of thorough research and a high level of personal service and expertise in market and product analysis, continue to grow and add new clients each year. They have sold hundreds of millions of dollars of real estate and are among the top selling agents each year in Denver and its suburban communities.
Joanne loves the technological advancements and the ever-increasing demands within the industry that require higher levels of knowledge, education and professionalism. Even more important is that savvy consumers demand that and won’t work with someone who isn’t knowledgeable or who relies simply on computer-driven data that any consumer can get on their own. The sheer amount of raw data available puts demands on experienced professionals to preview, study markets and really know product and market comparisons in order to advise their clients. It requires close personal attention and the willingness to limit the number of transactions in order to give focused attention to each person and each transaction. In her spare time, Joanne loves to golf, play bridge, travel to exotic places and warm climates, and spend time with her husband, two sons and 3 grand children…..all of whom are Colorado residents.
